THE Dapto City Coast Credit Union has moved to a new location at Dapto Mall and reopened as Credit Union Australia.

Dapto branch manager Jye Cajar expected the change of name and location would provide greater access for members.

Jye said Dapto Mall boasted more then 70 specialty shops and 1050 car parking spaces, making it more convenient for people to do all their banking and shopping in one location.

He said the new branch would provide the same friendly service but in a more modern premises.

Credit Union Australia (CUA) was planning more investment in the Illawarra and over the next 12 months.

Significant upgrades to the local branch network would include the rebranding of all City Coast Credit Union branches to CUA.
