Car-jacking Trial

TWO people accused of a car-jacking which ended when they crashed into a fence after a police chase will stand trial next year.
The court heard that Roselee Ann Booth, 23, of Kotara Cres, Unanderra, and Douglas Alexander Robert Moylan, 32, of Silverwater, did not know the man whose car they allegedly stole from Illawarra Credit Union Stadium, Unanderra, on May 4.Booth and Moylan both pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of assault with intent to steal a motor vehicle.The trial is expected to last three days and begin in Wollongong District Court on February 11.
